Tandem Paragliding Fight Experience

A tandem paragliding flight with Paraglide Adventure Ireland is a great way to enjoy the full paragliding aerial experience, without having to first learn how to launch and control the paraglider yourself. Your IHPA tandem rated Instructor will look after the take off, flight. and landing, leaving you free to relax and enjoy the spectacular views as you soar over some of Ireland's most spectacular scenery.

While you do need to be fit enough to walk up a hill carrying a 10 kg
back pack, you don't need to be especially fit to fly, take off and
landing involves running just a few steps and once airborne you sit back in a comfortable seat and lean a little to assist turning.

Flights normally last a minimum of 15-20 minutes. It's not possible to
guarantee exactly how long a tandem flight with be as this depends
largely on the wind and weather conditions at the time but we will
always make the most of the given conditions and give you the best
flight possible!While we supply all the flying equipment, you will need to wear you own ankle supporting boots.

You will also need to dress appropriately for the location, weather and time of year, standing around on a hill in wind can be quite cold at any time so warm layered clothing is essential, hats and gloves and plenty of food are a good idea.

Weight Restriction. We can only cater for people who weigh between 50 kg and 110 kg

The two main flying sites that we use for tandem flights are Black hill and Lough Bray, Co Wicklow

You should familiarize yourself with how to get to both of these
locations as either of them may well be the meeting place on the day of your flight..With regard to our tandem flights we do not operate on specific dates, we only fly on days when the wind and weather conditions are suitable.

You will need to fill it in with your details and email or post it back
to us. We will then contact you prior to some suitable looking flyable weather when hopefully you are available and can complete your tandem flight
